Empire Bar & Izakaya is dark and cavernous with nods to Japanese refinement through well-appointed artefacts. A series of intimate booths flank the wall, jewelled with an inferno of glistening red tiles.
Upstairs you’ll find our VIP bar / function room, bathed in beautiful bright blue, with beverages available from your dedicated bar team.

Booth Bookings
Bookings are available online through our website, or by contacting us on reservations@empirebar.co.nz.
Payment for booth bookings must be made prior to arrival / date of booking. We accept Visa and MasterCard .
Booths are bookable from 10pm on Friday and Saturday nights. You will enjoy exclusive use of the booth for the duration of the evening, with a dedicated server offering table service.
A booth booking will enable you and your guests to bypass queues (fast track entry), providing you and your guests arrive at the venue as a group.
Bookings 2-4 people
From 10pm Friday and Saturday nights
Silver: $149 (including 1 x btl champagne) – Moët & Chandon
Bookings 6-8 people
From 10pm Friday and Saturday nights
Silver: $249 (including 2 x btl champagne) – Moët & Chandon
Please note that only one bottle will be served at a time for the larger groups.
